The Sweet Escape of the Week

If you are like us, you have been hibernating in the house this summer due to almost unbearable Oklahoma temperatures. This, however, can have some unpleasant side effects on the parental unit such as siblings fights and the constant repetition of "Mommy, I'm bored", even though there is a plethora of toys, games, books, and electronic gadgets to keep them busy from now until eternity.

Sometimes, you just have to get out of the house and make the great escape. Well, we have just the place for you! Recently we sweet sisters happened upon a sweet little spot that allowed the little people to create a mess and keep our houses clean at the same time. That place is Unpluggits Playstudio! Unpluggits, located at 575 Enterprise Dive in Edmond, offers painting, crafts, take-home projects and an enourmous indoor play ground that includes a pirate ship, climb in tree, air hockey, foosball and sand & train tables. It gives children 18 months and up hours of  entertainment through creative play. It also has a dress up area which was a HUGE hit with our girls! OH and did i mention you can bring your own lunch or feed the crew at their organic snack bar. That was a win for the granola crunchy, health-nut sister of mine (*wink*).

For only 7 bucks per child you get all-day admission to the indoor playground and the paint'n play station. There is additional costs for the other things that they offer and you can click on the link above to their website for more details on all they have to offer. Trust me it will be the best 7 dollars you'll spend all summer. The kids had a blast and we  kept our sanity!
